Not a fan of spending a 40-Man Roster spot on Bell. Situational lefty/LOOGY at best, and even if Gohara doesn't stay in the pen we've got Biddle/Fried/Allard/Brothers who can fill that role.

They had a bunch of open 40 slots. They don't have to keep him if it becomes an issue.

The addition of Bell puts the 40-Man Roster at 39.

Somehow don't get 1 as "a bunch".

Not a big deal by any stretch, just not real sure why you'd pay the waiver fee to claim him and have him take up a spot that may go to Allard or Riley in the not so distant future when he probably would have gone unclaimed and you could've offered him a minor league deal if you wanted a closer look.

Riley 0-4 with 3 Ks.

Listened to some back mlb pipeline podcasts. They had riley on. I'm not saying these guys are the best prospect evaluators but they expressed concerns with his 3B defense of 4/25/18. One of the hosts in particular. Just reminded me of posters on here saying that nobody had defensive concerns anymore.

I'm still thinking 250/300-333/450-500 with avg to slightly below avg D.
