When Are the Extensions Coming?

Obviously as fans, we'd love for most of this young core to be locked up for years to come. In the previous regime, John Hart was supposed to be the master of these pre-arb contracts. What's everyone's take on when we might start hearing about any of these, if at all?
 
Aren't both Acuna and Albies so embittered by us gaming service time that there is no way they will sign? I thought I read that here a while back.
 
Albies should already be extended. He will be hard to extend now, especially if that 20+ HR pop is real.

Acuna was always going to be hard to extend, and is likely to go year to year.

Swanson might not be worth extending as a 2 win player.

Neither of Gohara or Soroka have shown enough at the MLB level yet to extend.

Folty is too old to bother extending.

It's quite possible we see no extensions this off season despite having a very young team.

I'd just figure it would be easier with players like Albies and Acuna who didn't receive huge bonuses in international signing, and would sacrifice a bit down the road for security now.

Possible. Recent young stars who have gone year to year like Harper, Machado, Lindor, and Bryant all got a nice chunk of money in their signing bonus because they were high draft picks. They didn't get "filthy rich" money, but they got "I don't need to sell myself short" money.

Maybe those guys were willing to bet on themselves because they were already rich.

Hopefully that means the Braves can extend Albies and Acuna.
