Speaking as an author who has written about the Holocaust,

these stories of Trump making up Hispanic names for fictitious

criminals to whip up the rage of hostile mobs are not just dogwhistles.

They're blaring air raid sirens.

Putting aside the question of if Obama's immigration enforcement policies were also sometimes draconian--they were, IMO...we're talking about a specific policy change which has been enacted right now. Defend it on its merits or gtfo.

Seriously, defend taking babies from their mothers and throwing kids into black-hole detention facilities in order to prosecute misdemeanors. Let's hear it. Defend it or gtfo.

My stance us hard against illegal immigration. The laws are known and people are trying to leverage babies to get into the country illegally. It's a cold world. I lost my mother at 8 years old. Life isn't fair.

You could really say that at any point in American history, War on drugs is just the holocaust in slow motion.

The cost of treating uninsured people at hospitals raises the cost of healthcare for all customers, including Medicare beneficiaries. Cutting the legs out from under ACA and repealing the individual mandate will result in more uninsured people seeking treatment. This contributes to the projected depletion of the trust fund. Don't take my word for it--it's in the report.
