2018 MLB Draft Thread

I think second round got postponed (prolly jk but MLB Network switched to MLB tonight)

The MLB is desperate for people to ignore their draft

Best I can tell, the only 45s left are Wilcox, Rocker and Eierman. Both pitchers are maxed out HS arms who will almost certainly start losing velocity immediately after turning pro.

FG on Wilcox: "There's plenty of teams showing lots of interest in the 10-20 range and the rumored $3 million price tag will likely be met."

He is a major over slot candidate now. Do the Braves possibly have $3M to sign him?

Rocker was at 100 so even if he loses some velocity it won't matter that much.
 
Pretty much got Stewart with this draft. Losing that 3rd rounder hurts. I don't think we had the money to make much out of the 2nd rounder..
 
Jenista is the kind of hitter you want to take in the second round. Plus power. Some question marks about his position. But the guy has upside. And a bat with upside is what I wanted this round. Can't complain about our first two picks.
