A very strange pick indeed. Never could figure out why they drafted him the third round much less go overslot to sign him.

Anyway, looks like rico43 is up to his eyeballs in something, so we can just continue this minor league thread with Saturday's action.

DSL Braves 3, DSL Astros 1. Lisandro Santos the winning pitcher with 4.1 scoreless innings. 2 hits for Brandol Mezquita (half of the Braves' hit total).

Florida is beating up on Jupiter 9-2 in the 6th in the first game of a doubleheader. 2 HRs for Braxton Davidson, who now sits .039 below the Mendoza line. 2 ERs on 7 Hs surrendered for Muller in 5 IP.
