Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

Super called you racist for propping up Trump at every turn.

For a couple hundred dollars

I'm pretty certain I've criticized him a lot.

Try to be intellectually honest, you know.

But at the end of day, the results have been much better than his predecessors.

I agree with you that it would be significant, but you're framing it oddly.

Obama instructed the DoJ not to prosecute federal laws relating to marijuana in states that had voted to legalize. The Trump DoJ rescinded that guidance. So you're giving Trump credit for TALKING about taking action in an area where they've already concretely taken a step backwards. I mean, props to him if he does it (and, frankly, it seems like low hanging fruit) but you are putting the cart before the horse.

If you're legitimately concerned with intellectual honesty, you should make this clear.

We're not talking about a " boon for minorities" which is a loaded phrase in itself, but policies that are holding children hostage or labeling entire religions to curry political favor or ignoring natural disasters in areas that didn't support you. Pretty much along color / language lines.

Criticisms ring hollow.
Kinda like "thoughts and prayers"

If I had my druthers we would be back to arguing taxes and health care policies as opposed to every day having to weigh the morality of separating children from parents , what religions can and cant enter the country and whether we respond as a nation to natural disasters.

This is different.
I hope you see that
.............................

any level of support for a politician that institutes the policies or the dereliction of duty aimed toward Puerto Rico is racist.
That is the PG version

If you take that personal --- well so be it.
You got your tax break.
This is what must have been the price

you know, everything comes at a cost
In order for Italy to get reliable train service it took Mussolini.

Back to the topic at hand, the Presidents Campaign Manager is in jail, his NSA is pled out, his sons and daughter are in the soup for using a non profit charity as a family cookie jar and his lawyer is about to flip
And the POTUS is currently looking at a 10 year ban from being a participant in any form of non profit
persona non grata

Manafort was jailed because he was a flight risk. Odds are he wasn't going to Canada , Mexico or France
Knowing all of this ....

Wonder what is in those tax returns he doesn't want the world to see.

You don't know what you are talking about. Look up Michele Leonhart who Obama appointed to head the DEA and her campaign of terror against medical marijuana. I believe she was forces to resign after it was discovered DEA agents in South America were accepting underage prostitutes from drug cartels and she gave pathetic answers in front of Congress about it.

here's some brilliant testimony.

I very clearly wrote "if"

It's fun to call everyone a racist but it's so tired and lazy. Really deligitimizes an argument and frankly Trump policies haven't been racist at all.

Because they have a gun they think they are bad asses. i swear if a policeman and I are in the same cell, he would probably last a minute, if that.

They don't pull me over now because I complained MANY times. I go to church with the judge and DA and they told both the city and county to not pull me over for DWB and they actually haven't. So talking works if you have a complaint but that is just me, what about the others?

And if you're talking to the right people, which you obviously were.

No kidding. It's just that "if" is a hell of a qualifier.

So...nothing racist about the travel ban? Nothing racist about choosing massively punitive detention policies for a particular class of misdemeanor that happens to effect mostly people of color?

Nice follow-up in the Guardian about further links between the Leave.uk people and the Russians. Lots of stuff passing between them right around the time that Farage began appearing with Trump.

I don't see it as inherently racist, if you are elected to curb illegal immigration, and that is what you try to do.

I have never heard Trump complain about legal immigrants. If he has, please point me to it.

And by the way, I did not agree with the travel ban (and said so at the time).

But I was responding to Super literally calling me a racist, because I said I supported the Korean peace talks. I'm a firm believer in ending the welfare state and ending government dependency programs that keep minorities down. I think our criminal justice system systematically discriminates against minorities. I think cops are much harder on minorities than white people. I think the drug war has been the biggest resistance to minority progress in the country.

Yet I'm a racist because I admit when the President does something good.

Doesn't that get old?

how much longer until he starts trying to revoke citizenship from people? Barring a Democrat takeover of Congress I guaranteed you he will come after legal immigrants eventually.

I would take that bet.

But if he did, I would obviously protest it.

As it stands now, I have no intentions to vote for him in 2020... but do think he has a good chance of winning again

That's fine but I don't really have an issue with backing a "merit-based' system

If that makes me a racist, then I don't know what to say

No I just think your naive for believing what they say on face value. The goal is less brown people ie people who vote democrat.

Eh, well, nothing about the Korea situation is inherently racist, at least from where I sit.

But pretty much everything about Trump immigration policy is explicitly racist. So, yannow, calling that like I see it.
