The Trump Presidency

Or like the Repub led Congress said "Hell No" to everything Obama said and everything Obama did. Not saying he was or would have been a great president otherwise, but the way they acted was shameful IMO. Then they acted like all of his executive order and other "stuff" was because HE wouldn't work with THEM.

Trump blames Dems for the occasional resistance he gets from Congress now. I had to go and print out a list of which party controls both houses of Congress a couple of months ago. He watches Fox and Friends before work and actually believed it was the Dems who were "obstructing" Trumps policies and plans. It's no wonder we're electing worse and worse people and losing more and more of our freedoms.

I live in a Republican stronghold, the political ads were literally saying elect me and I will obstruct Obama as much as possible.

Me too! I was in OKC getting nuked every day back in 2014 when our illustrious governor "Mattress Mary" Fallin was running for re-election and literally the first line of her campaign TV commercials was "She'll Stand Up to Obama". Can you imagine the ****storm on Fox and talk radio if any Dem would start out by saying "I'll Stand Up to Trump and his BS policies"??? It would probably register on the Richter Scale.

The border crisis is a reminder that Trump has no idea what he’s doing

Faced with a problem Mitch McConnell can’t solve for him, Trump is flailing.

Trump’s response to the crisis at the US-Mexico border — where toddlers are in internment camps and older kids are in tent cities at frightening expense while children sob, health deteriorates, and the long-term damage of toxic stress accumulates — reminds us that he does not know anything about public policy, diplomacy, constitutional law, or legislative strategy.
