Santana is easy to K, he almost always chases. It was total moron move, esp. with Ender on deck who had K'd vs same lefty last night. Who could not see that is a set up to fail? Santana strength is defense in LF and pinch running, not being used as a main pinch hitter when you need some contact.

He saw what 14 pitches in 2 PA with a hard ground ball and a walk. I think those are good ABs. Not every good AB ends in a double

Nah, they were good PAs. It's just kinda funny to a see him getting attaboys for making not-awful outs.

I get it--you like him and you root for him. It's just that bar for him seems very low compared to others.
