the Russians hacked and disseminated the emails...the Trump crowd has known the Russians did it for a very long time...and they were happy to go along...in fact they encouraged it in various ways...they offered them a "good deal" on sanctions policy...and at least some of them appear to have hoped to get rich in the process...

to quote a great American...quid pro quo Clarice quid pro quo

what remains to be done is to elect enough Democrats this November to remove Trump from office for his many high crimes and misdemeanors

depends on various things...most notably the elections...impeachment is inherently a political thing and the elections will be very influential in determining what happens to him...but the guy is a career criminal...and he has abused his office in various ways

You implied the only reason he won't be impeached is politics, thus giving you an out.

no...but I think his report will include a finding that Trump or people in his campaign engaged in a quid pro quo with the Russians...or at a minimum knew about and encouraged their activities regarding the hacked emails

Turnip better hope they don't find concrete proof that he knew anything, if they do he is gone, unfortunately it will be too late in his term to stop his damage.
 
Trump had a hand in, if not total responsibility for, most everything that happened between his campaign and Russia. This is a common sense fact that you can't get around.

just the ones where they prefer certain outcomes....and within those there is a subset in which they find witting collaborators

I think the question now turns to those witting collaborators

another question is what we do about it...at a minimum we should be tripling down on financial sanctions...we could completely isolate them from the world banking system if we wanted to
 
one of the questions Mueller wants to ask Trump:

what did you know about the communications between Roger Stone and his associates and Julian Assange and Wikileaks

I suspect Mueller already knows the answer...he has the text messages between Wikileaks and Guccifer 2.0
