GDT 7/14: Diamondbacks at Braves

No matter what, we at least aren’t the Nationals. They’re under .500 again and have no excuse. Even with the injuries, they have immense talent on that roster.

On another note, Acuna has to figure it out. I’m glad he’s getting big league experience, but he’s been really bad. He has too much talent for this crap.

I was worried about the offense from the get-go and first-half performance aside, I'm still not sold on it. Without Markakis' career half-season and the surprising power from Albies, we would really stink.

At this point, idk if the Nationals really get it together this year. There is something to be said about expected win loss and the like, but outside that 22-6 stretch where they looked like they were really rounding into form and they were themselves, they're a pretty stunning 25-42.

I'm probably jinxing the Braves after the break but that's 67 games of frankly...pretty bad play. That's not quite the sample size needed for it to be real, but I'm starting to think we're not seeing "the real Washington" at all this year and that they're going to limp their way to 80-85 wins.

I agree and expect the team to lean heavily on the pitching, about which I'm somewhat optimistic, in the second half. If I had to pick a pivotal player for the second half it would be Gohara.

Camargo is a 45? Thanks for the new sig, derpmeister.

No no, keep your old stuff up too hero.

Funny thing is you don’t even know what a role 45 player is. Your sig is a bunch of proof that I’m right haha...and you’re too dumb to realize it.
