The Admin has taken action that is contrary to Russia’s interests... on the other hand, a lot of it has been initiated by Congress, so it’s hard to lay it all at Trump’s doorstep.

As for it not being Trump’s “fault.” Well, perhaps not, though they certainly would have been encouraged by his obfuscating and deflecting wrt to hacking during and after the campaign. It’s hard not to acknowledge that he’s got a piece of it..

Had he, at ANY point after last fall, acknowledged Russian interference and taken a strong stand against it, the conversation would be different.
 
For months I have talked about a Sergi in the Server Room with the Screwdriver scenario.
That is now public record and in all probability will next week be sworn public testimony.

Which leads to the next question
Who left the server room door unlocked ?

Again all of this happened under the name of the Trump Campaign / Administration.
I find it equally indicting if all of these events happened under his watch and he had nary an idea.

Reminds me of Reagan and Iran Contra.

As far as Obama, look no further than our old buddy Mitch McConnel
Suppose for a second HRC won (which was the likely outcome at the time of McConnell's refusal to issue a joint, Bi Partisan statement ) while Trump was publicly being investigated.
There were RW/Libertarian/Neo-Con Op-Eds the past few days wondering if (R) would have been better off had HRC won

Who did leave the server room door unlocked or open ?

Did you know the guards at Manforts jail let him keep his own close on and gave him a labtop with internet access. Pretty sure thats a crime of some sort. Remember these people voted foe Trump at 84% rate. If there are 100 guards on this jail. Over 80 are likely to support Trump. Now keep in mind how Stormy Daniels gets setup by police while they give aid and assistance to a man facing serious federal charges.

This is such a bizarre take from you on this. You're always calling for due process... and Mueller is doing due diligence and due process the right way. Through court warrants, subpoenas, etc. All of these indictments Mueller is doing the right way, is this not the due process you want our country to show others since you are always concerned about how we present ourselves to the rest of the world? Mueller is clearly building a BIG case. Maybe the biggest case we've ever seen. You're always one for deep state conspiracies, and yet here we have Mueller potentially unlocking pandora's box. Is Mueller investigating these crimes not a perfect example of checks and balances that our founders wanted that you're always calling for?

Mueller's team have kept leaks tightly shut, unlike all the leaks coming out of Trump's white house. Instead of crediting Mueller for running a tight ship (because what if the Deep State finds out what he's investigating and tries to cover it up?) you immediately come to the conclusion it's all a waste of time.

You seem firmly in the camp that none of these crimes are real or have any path or ties to possible collusion. Would Trump being potentially blackmailed by a foreign adversarial government not be arguably the biggest case of a deep state shadow government we've ever seen?

and how does he know its a witch hunt? because they are "trying so hard"

This is a lot of words that don't capture my position at all.

Mueller is welcome to continue and I am sure he will.

I am just saying that if the collusion angle was so obvious, he'd have found something by now. If he had found something, you'd think we would have heard.

As I've stated, my money is on no charges levied against Trump.
 
I lean pretty strongly toward no charges for Trump (with obstruction being the wildcard). But it’s quite possible that we haven’t heard anything yet because potential witnesses who could put him in the jackpot haven’t cooperated.

Yes, Obama should've called McConnell's bluff but I assume the evidence at the time was incomplete and he had no idea about how deep and varied the connection was. The NRA, for example.
