Anthopoulos has gotten two reliable bullpen arms, a solid veteran starter, and a decent bench player all without mortgaging the future.

Has AA given us a Reason To Believe©?

Can you alter the poll so we can mark multiple choices?

Do think we're much better - obviously - woulda loved another pen arm for the stretch, guess they're hoping Viz makes it back OK fairly soon or that the kids can handle big roles down the stretch.

Not going to go deep, but do think we stay in the Division race until the end now.

You already can.

I don't have any complaints about the moves AA made at the deadline.

I do have a complaint about what he left undone. But let's keep our fingers crossed and hope Camargo, Swanson and Culberson provide some good production from the left side of the infield.

Looking at next year, early i know but always fun to discuss.

C- big need, trade for someone, sign a FA? I dont think both Zuk/Flowers are back, probably 1.
1B- FF
2B- Ozzie
SS- Swanson
3B- Camargo? (could upgrade here, 1 yr flier on Donaldson would work)
LF- Acuna
CF- Ender
RF- FA?

Bench- Duval, Zuk/Flowers, Culberson, Camargo ideally with an upgrade at 3B is a solid bench.

Rotation- Gausman, Newk, Folty, Soroka, Allard, Touki, Gohara, Teheran, Fried, Wright? I think a couple from here could be traded to help the MLB team.

Pen- Winkler, Minter, Viz, Venters (i think he has one year of control left), O'Day, Biddle, Carle, probably add one in free agency with the money to spend.

Biggest needs to me are a starting C, high leverage arm not sure we go for Kimbrel but wouldnt complain, starting LF/RF'er, and 3B. Depends how much money we got to spend. Declining McCarthy's option and trading Julio would save 16 million.

A total of 3mil slot money used in trades.

I'm in the good camp for these trades. The fact that we didn't gut the farm is a great deal.

Gausman stuff is comparable to Archer but we got him at a far, far lower cost. I'm totally impressed with AA so far. Looking forward to the rest of this season and beyond!

Trade Dansby and pitchers for a bat at 2B, 3B, or OF.
Move Ozzie back to short.
Camargo plays second or third.
Sign 2 WAR FA for other spot.
Go cheap at catcher.
Sign a couple second tier bullpen arms.
Win World Series on last home game of series, maximizing ticket sales.

Profit.

The rotation is probably Folty, Newk, Gass, Teheran with Soroka, Touki, Gohara and Wright all fighting for the 5th slot and rotating through the rotation all season. The good news is there's no reason to sign that obligatory veteran 4/5 for $10M since Julio already fills that spot.

Catcher is going to be a big deal with all options in play. FAs like Flowers, Grandall and Suzuki. Trades like Realmuto. Everything.

3B is likely still going to be held for Riley. I would expect some stop gap help to be acquired.

LF/RF is now also wide open. The addition of Duvall makes a platoon with a LHH plausible, but I'm hoping they aim higher than that. Pollock, Cutch, who knows. Trade candidates are also wide open.

BP I'm guessing they don't spend heavily in, but 1-2 arms will certainly be added.
