GDT: Marlins @ Braves Trade Deadline Day Special

Bad game to try to form an opinion on Allard. I don't expect another game to go particularly well, but I hope he gets a couple more chances.

Because he's a Braves prospect, because he was a first round pick, because he may actually recover from the back injury one day, because there may be a mechanical flaw that can be fixed, because he's gotten good results everywhere he has been, because its harsh to judge a guys career over on one game in the rain that probably should have been cancelled, because I just generally root for young players to make it.

I met a guy who works for AmericasMart (the company mine just merged with) and he offered me free tickets to Braves and Bulldogs’ games every time I’m in Atlanta for work. I still haven’t been to SunTrust Park and I am so stoked about this!!

I have a feeling Ender is going to be one of those rah rah spark guys in the playoffs and get a few clutch hits/plays like Pagan did for Los Gigantes.. With his skills on both sides of the ball he's one of those players that can really turn the game around with a hustle double, perfect bunt, or an outstanding defensive play to wake up the team. I wish we had a player with his personality and skillset during the 2002-2005 run. Those years we were loaded with decent hitters. Ender definitely would have been the perfect Bobby player to utilize.
