Smells like Donaldson to me. Waiting to see on health maybe.
Except Donaldson is a RH bat.

I think Josh Donaldson bats right-handed, guys.
What about Harper?
Can't hurt to bring him in and see if he can be "tweaked" to get something out of him as well.
Would be great to get him back to his dominant stretches and have him be part of sticking the dagger in the Gnats.
Doesn’t even really need to do any tweaking. He’s been quite good this year.

Yep...as already pointed out I was mistaken

If AA was willing to give 3B to Bautista over Camargo, I don't see the fact Donaldson bats RHed stopping anything.
Indeed. Unfortunately, I’d be the Zombie Expos find a bare-minimum-palatable trade for him before he gets to the Braves’ waiver spot, if only to keep him out of the division. But he’d be a nice addition to the Cobb County pen as-is.
yeah...I want to join in and point out Donaldson hits right handed
I think the hour for the Giants to sell is now or this winter and they've arguably waited too long. I still believe in Bumgarner but there are signs of decline. Now would be a good time for Posey, Crawford, Belt, Melancon, Longoria to be moved before they look less fairly paid.
They are a big market team, so they can probably retool and rebuild in a fairly short time. They can do it a few pieces at a time if they want.
Shawn Kelley DFA’d. Man, I hope we get him.
Did you by chance see why he was DFA'd? He threw a temper tantrum for having to pitch in that blowout game vs the Mets last night, and was released shortly after.
He claims his anger stemmed from conflicting messages from the umpires (one asking him to work quicker; another threatening balk if he didn’t slow down), rather than from being asked to pitch in a blowout. A tantrum either way, but beggars can’t be choosers for bullpen improvements. And while there are moral stands to take, I don’t think refusing to employ a glove-thrower is a worthy one.
Probably moot, anyways, as I doubt the Braves get the chance to scoop him. But they should, if they can.
I mean personally I don't care. But you know, the "Braves Way" and all that, if that even exists anymore with the new regime.
It doesn't help that their farm system is so poor. Also not sure how many pieces they have at the MLB level that have value to get them elite prospects in return. They're such an old team and help doesn't appear to be on the way.
One can always hope it does not.
