Visiting my siblings in Atlanta while I'm in the SE for a bit before I fly back up to Seattle next week.
Atlanta has always been a great soccer town in terms of rec soccer (rec soccer is the most participated youth sport in country) and this is the culmination of all those kids who grew up playing youth soccer for a decade and a half. Plus, we all know Atlanta has tons of transplants and a diverse immigrant population in suburbs from futbol enthused countries (from South America, Africa, Europe). Just sort of the perfect storm.
