GDT 8/4 Braves (Gausman) @ Mets (Wheeler)

Clubhouse manager needs to be fired.

Win two road games with the classic grey unis then switch to the navy blue monstrosity ugly aways and we're losing.

Joe needs to launch on another of his patented Saturday night rants about how butt ugly the Braves blue top/batting practice unis are. It has to at least border on being unprofessional.

We're lucky enough to get Wheeler pitching the best he's ever pitched. Yay

Uhh, lol, he's absolutely shoving it of late. It's not just us. 2.56 ERA in his last 6, last start was a scoreless start against the Pirates, who had been a bit hot offensively.

I didn't say he was bad. He's just got the best stuff he's probably ever had tonight.

Albies very lucky he plays in the era he does. That throw from Camargo put him in a bad spot to get taken out by the runner

I do think it could still be 0-0, but you can just credit Frazier there. Still, if Camargo looks at him and just goes with the throw comfortably, I think Freeman can throw him out at home.

Gausman has for the most part pitched well, but he throws a lot of non competitive off speed pitches. It appears that it might be this that was his main issue.

What's the saying, "that'll look line a line drive in the box score tomorrow." Nice hit, Tyler...LOL

Bae not helping the team's cause a great deal tonight. Would've been nice to have at least cleared the pitcher in the top of the 5th.

Problem is they also have no bullpen, so they'd have to spend there too. Window isn't very long. Two more for deGrom and three for Syndegaard.

BP is relatively easy to fix though as long as you aren't building your entire BP using retreads like Moylan or AAAA pitchers. Plenty of decent options on the market every year that don't break the bank.
