More Evidence The Mets Are A Trash Organization

Nothing wrong with what he said. I have no issues with what Urena did. Not a fan of hitting his elbow though.

I had issues with it because he threw the fastest first pitch he's thrown all season. If you're going to hit someone and you're throwing 98 you're going to hurt them no matter where you hit them, and if you hit them in the wrong place you can kill them or hurt them for a long time.

Urena was not throwing to back him off the plate. It was not gamesmanship as KH implies. It was a blatant throw to hit him and hurt him.

No place for that bush league move.

This. Acuna also isn't crowding the plate from what I've seen. The intent was to send a message or worse, it was not a strategic one.

It sure looked like he just decided to nail him with a 98 mph fastball and then was ready to fight. I don't believe DM called for it as Keith said, nor did Realmuto expect it.

Shoot, I earlier today I was going to post that Urena’s first pitch was probably going to be behind Acuña. I’ve have had no problem if he went high and tight on the first pitch. But that’s not what this was, and it was glaringly obvious.

I can get behind throwing at a player who showboats too much.

But Acuna did not show up the Marlins other than hit several lead off Homers off of them.

So I'm not feeling Hernandez's or Niners logic here. This isn't the same as stealing a base being up 10-1 in the 8th inning. Even if you are a firm believer into the unwritten rules non-sense what unwritten rule did Ronald break to warrant being thrown at?
