Might need to leave Culberson in the line-up more as hot as he's been. After his slow start he has been killing righties with an OPS over .900. But I wouldn't sit Swanson friday as he has good numbers vs the lefty going. I'd sit him more vs righties while Culberson is hot and give Camargo days off vs some righties too.

This is nothing that I haven't said myself. Smoltz seems to think the better pitching will win out here. But bad defense can ruin some good pitching efforts. I have repeatedly said the Braves are among the best teams on defense under AA. Philly is just plain bad on defense.

Braves pitching has actually been better than the Philthies lately. Both SP and RP.

Kurt is one of the worst framing catchers in baseball, this isn't very surprising at all.

That strike three called a ball wasn't such a bad frame, he held it in the zone and still called a ball. He could've framed others close better though.
