Guys do you think Wilson has earned another start at some point? He was very encouraging tonight. Maybe later in the month when we need another spot start somewhere? We are starting to run out of room lol
Lots of options. Most likely depends on when we need that spot starter and who is rested
Kiley has been writing for the last year that Bryse Wilson could be lethal as a multi-inning reliever who goes through the order once. I think that’s pretty much the best way we can utilize him in September and the playoffs. Certainly not opposed to him getting more stars, but that’s a really interesting role for him in a situation like the one we’re in.

Wilson was better than Touki, Touki control was iffy but he got some chases on ball fours that turned into a DP in one case. Both were good though, but I liked Wilson a lot tonight.

yea he use to top out at 97-98 and hit 96 a lot but even now at 94 mostly he is still impressive.

His 94 with movement is better than a lot of 98s out there. When he was sitting at 96 hitters had no chance.

I know even intelli-Braves buttholes curled up when Sam Freeman almost blew the game. The offensively challenged Pirates bailed him out with some early swings but he still sucks after getting in a jam including giving up a rocket double! I don't want to see him but in low leverage situations meaning we are up or trailing by 5 or more runs but Snitkers got lucky tonight!

Would be all for it if it's deployed correctly. Honestly with rosters expanding, only having 2 days off in September isn't bad in general with the pitching the Braves have. Could have multiple guys that are starters be brought back (if they're not starting) and Biddle needs to be used more than 1 batter.
