The Trump Presidency

the attempt to draw equivalence between Trump and others is something else...he is a special kind of dumb, a special kind of lawless, a special kind of liar, a special kind of disloyal, a special kind of reckless

and he *always* has been. it's absolutely nothing new. nothing we just learned a few months ago, or when he won. he is a con man who will act in his own interest before literally anyone else's. he isn't looking out for the country and never intended to. everything in his entire life has always been about him.
he should not be occupying the office.

had to pay $25M settlement to clear the (that) slate before being inaugurated.

Let me remind, that was for fleecing returning veterans.
Kinda funny (not ha-ha) that a stripper and an email are his undoing.

Oh yeah, & not taking advise from a Kenyan

well he didn't defraud the rich white people. so really who cares? as long as he doesn't screw them over by making them pay more in taxes, he can do whatever.

Trump says to loud applause and Trump chants: "We are putting our great coal miners back to work." Here's the chart of coal mining employment.

I'm waiting for all those Republicans who thought Bill Clinton should be impeached for lying about sex to weigh in on what to do about a president who allegedly conspired to violate federal law to hide a sex scandal.

i'm sure they're all consistent. right sturg?

New rule: you can’t confirm a Supreme Court Justice in the last year of your crime syndicate.

you sweet summer child. Thinking your government is run by law abiding people. Still waiting for any of those Presidents who let the war on drugs continue while they did drugs in their youth to turn themselves into prison.

Funny how its the President who didnt do drugs who is the biggest criminal. Yall understand this career criminal is supported by 84% of law enforcement. I hate Trump but I am happy the hypocrites who support him are being exposed. Using the law to criminalize certain groups of people and then saying its about enforcing the law or rule of law is one of tbe oldest tricks in the book. Like step 1 of how to genocide for dummies.

Yall think I am crazy. I see through this ****. I was Republican. I dont like Obama but I recognized what and why they were doing to him. And no its not because he is black. Then I gtfo out of that party. Most people are shills for one side or the other and thats the heart of the problem with America.

Couldn't care less about sex in the oval office. But he should have been impeached for his unconstitutional bombing of Iraq

Lol, as if we should be putting coal miners back to work anyway but I digress

It’s oretty obvious the tax returns weren’t realized cause he, like all his people that are going to jail, Committed tax fraud too

As a betting man, it makes the most sense

are you...are you serious? it's the tiniest increase. there was a *larger* increase from 2008 to 2009 and 2010 to 2012 - was it because obama was trying to bring back coal, and telling coal miners he was bringing back coal? or does that just happen, with the overall trend still being downward and a hopeless industry?

trump isn't doing **** for coal miners. because there's nothing one can do. surely you know this.

So Fox released a 50-second clip of an interview with Trump where he was asked if he knew about the payment to Daniels. He leads off with an obvious, provable lie (“I found out about it later”) then repeats about 5 times that the money didn’t come from the campaign.

It’s truly bizarre and leads me to genuinely question his mental acuity. The potential jeopardy is not bound to the money coming from the campaign. Either his lawyers are hopeless or he doesn’t have the inclination or capacity to understand the advice they’re surely giving him.

It’s truly bizarre and leads me to genuinely question his mental acuity.

he does this constantly. he contradicts himself in back-to-back sentences.

and remember, when he was looking for lawyers and being turned down left and right, one of them who rejected him said it was because "he doesn't listen and he doesn't pay." he doesn't (can't?) listen to his lawyers.

Further along those lines. Today he tweeted about how unfair the Manafort conviction was, complimenting Pavel for his bravery in not “breaking,” i.e. agreeing to cooperate, which in his construction means lying about him in exchange for lenience. He’s obviously drawing a contrast with Cohen. And, yeah, I wouldn’t take anything Cohen said at face value...but the thing is, we don’t have to. Cohen’s charging document suggests that the prosecutors have documentary evidence for the allegation that the payments were campaign-related and that Trump was aware of them.

It’s hard to escape the conclusion, based on the desperate attaboys that he’s aiming at Manafort, that he’s scared ****less of what Manafort might say if Pavel chooses to cooperate with prosecutors.

It’s worth noting now that Michael Flynn’s sentencing was delayed again.
