I know you absolutely love all over Wilson all the time, but I'd rather not with him until he gets 10-15 more starts in Gwinnett next year if you can buy that he can improve his off speed pitches because Wilson right now, while he has a bulldog mentality that will make him a fan favorite...is a #3/4 himself. Trade Newcomb this offseason keep Teheran for one more season, maybe even bring Sanchez back as a bridge to Wright.

Touki has done all he needs to in AAA and Wilson is very close to doing the same.

I think I remember you saying we wouldn’t see Wilson until mid season next year (and he was up the next week).

I have heard management is sky high on him.

As I type this....I completely forgot about Soroka...dang...and you still want Julio and possibly Sanchez back with that many big arms ready?

I don't think anyone realistically thought we'd see Bryse Wilson. That was a surprise. That case is up to management though, if they realistically think he can hone his off speed more, should he be doing that at the highest level?

I would not be counting on Soroka for a full season in 2019 even if all is well. Most likely he's started off slow and has an IP limit of 140 or so.
