He's had a horrible August but he hasn't been complete trash the rest of the time

Well, this was another crappy loss. Surprisingly, the Phillies won, so that hurts as well. Our players need to grow up and win some games. Not hard!!
 
Next 2 are pretty close to must wins with 7 against Red Sox and dbacks this week. It's very realistic braves are in 2nd place next Sunday with Phillies having 6 games vs marlins and Mets
 
It seems like every bad bounce or mistake kills us lately. We've given away about 4 games over the last two weeks.

Well, he admitted that he's been horrible in August, which encompasses your second range of dates there. But it probably not fair to throw July in with the August considering he batted over .300 in July with a 108 wRC+ which was his second best of any month this year. The month of June he had a 101 wRC+ which isn't great but its not bad. Average to slightly above average. May was pretty bad and August has been his worst.
