“I don’t know what our Democratic friends expect us to do,” Kennedy said on “Fox News Sunday.” “We got a letter, it’s secret. We don’t know who wrote it. Who are we going to cross-examine? [California Sen. Dianne] Feinstein? I mean give me a break.”

However, soon after Kennedy made that statement, Christine Blasey Ford, a professor at Palo Alto University in California, came forward as the accuser in an interview with The Washington Post.

Why I'm asking you this question is beyond me but here goes...

What would stop someone from making this accusation? Is there ANY way to prove it? Is there an repurcussions against her if she is lying?

If y'all don't see the slippery slope here I don't know what to tell you

the proof in this case are the 2012 notes from her therapist

well his buddy Judge has written an account of their drunken escapades...not proof either but it will not help...I think Kavanaugh is toast...imo more likely than not it did happen as she claims
 
That would mean when the Senate flips (R) loses their ideological bench.
Not to mention that certain vote on Trump's charges
I would be surprised if they still dont try ramming this through

actually the Repubicans have plenty of time to confirm someone else before the next Congress is seated
