GDT: Braves @ Dodgers (NLDS Game 4, October 7, 2013)

I will say this. Freaking Chris Johnson came to play. Thanks for a wonderful season, BABIPimping.
I love CJ's passion though he may get a little childish at times. He came into an almost impossible situation - replacing Chipper Jones. If not for his Tweeting, Chipper's name wouldn't even have been mentioned. Just an amazing season for him.

Shouldn't it be statistically near-impossible to lose in the first round this many times in a row? Doesn't that speak to something very critically wrong with the Braves organization philosophically? I just don't get it. First-time and one-time teams to the postseason constantly go through to the next round, often even winning the whole shebang. In the last 15 years or so.... Marlins - 2 WS championships.... Cardinals - 2 WS championships.... Red Sox - 2 WS championships.... Giants - 2 WS championships.... Yankees - 5 WS championships.... Braves - 0 times getting out of the 1st round since 2001....

Our management style is geared for the regular season, and seems completely incapable of adjusting to the game that's different in the playoffs. You can't play for tomorrow or Wednesday in a freaking elimination game.

I actually like Carpenter. The manager should have been the one taking him out, the guy was out there trying to compete. I just don't agree with him being in there after the double, and don't agree with speeding up Uribe's bat with a slider at that point.

Why was Freddie Freeman not positioned on the line anyways? That was another BONEHEADED managerial move too. If Freddie is playing two steps closer to the line, Puig is never on base.

Exactly...........but no, our esteemed manager would not have none of that. What did McCann do this game, well outside of throwing someone out on the base paths? Not a damn thing. He k'ed 4 times and not a single hit the whole series, left guys on and on and on and his play calling in the last inning was putrid. He basically played himself off the team and unless he comes back for 12 mil or less. I would gladly help pack his bags if someone wants to give him more money.

I first saw Mac play in Myrtle Beach. So while I would be sad to see him go for nostalgia reasons, otherwise I am fine with him leaving. He is not worth the money at this point.
