And to add more to the Cowboys issues, sounds like Sean Lee isn’t optimistic about his hamstring injury...

The best thing that could happen to the Cowboys is to go on a big losing streak and even more than that the players start to quit on him and do so blatantly. That's the only thing IMO that would cause Jerry to finally do what he should have done long ago. Don't worry though, it won't happen, the Cowboys are too good for that, but not good enough to get to the playoffs. It's gonna be another 8-8 year, or maybe a 9-7/7-9 year. That will be followed by more big promises maybe a big name FA acquisition or two and in the end next season will be "second verse, same as the first".

I don't think they crack .500 ball. They need a WR that scares teams deep. Right now, it seems like they can't get much going through the air.

You may well be right and it would certainly serve them right, but Deonte Thompson is fast, Tavon Austin is fast but it really doesn't matter as long as they have someone with the imagination of a handful of pine needles calling the plays i don't really see anything getting better. Talent wise I feel like Dallas is at least on a par with both Carolina and Seattle but got totally shut down by both defenses. They have to play a team they are way better than, like the vaGiants to win and sadly there are at least 4 or 5 of them around these days so Dallas will probably at least get to 7-9, maybe a little better when towards the end of the season some other teams will start to crap out because of injuries and/or giving up because they're out of contention. Since nothing is going to change until they literally embarrass Jerry rather than just seriously disappointing him (and us fans) nothing will change. JG lets Jerry act and feel like he's really the head coach and few "real head coaches" will allow him that arrogant privilege, JG won't be going anywhere any time soon.

Sunday is a must win game for Dallas. If they have any chance of doing something this season, it has to start Sunday. A Dallas loss and it’s a long rest of the year for the Cowboys.

I honestly believe that any victory they might get on Sunday is just putting off the inevitable. What we really need is for them to go 0 for the rest of the season and hope that Jerry finally gets enough of "clapping boy" and his minions and cleans house, except for maybe 1 or 2 assistants on the offensive side and maybe 1 or 2 on the defensive side, especially Richard. Maybe Stephen Jones finally has enough pull to actually make this happen IF Jerry goes along with the first part (getting rid of JG).

Michael Thomas has been targeted on 44 passes this year so far. He has caught 42 of them. He has been targeted on 21 passes on first down. Caught all 21 and all went for a first down.

As for Earl Thomas. He is such a bitch. He already has made tens of millions and crying about money. Probably because he spends it all on gold chains and useless ****. Seahawks should suspend him without pay the rest of the year.

lol. trash take here. i'll never blame a player for holding out for this exact reason. now he's much more ****ed to the benefit of the billionaire owner.

I havent followed his situation but I bet Seattle offered him a lucrative contract with plenty of guaranteed money. Thomas held out for more and now its come back to bite him. Boo hoo.

I'll never assume players are in the wrong for holding out. Aside from QBs no player in the NFL who's a star gets paid enough. Especially those at positions who don't have long NFL careers typically.NFL makes trillions of dollars every year. Enough to pay a loser like Goodell almost 40 million dollars. They make rules like kids drafted from school cannot negotiate contracts.

No one benefits from the owners spending teams into massive debt to pay the players more money and league revenue wouldnt be skyrocketing if there wasnt a salary cap structure leveling the playing field. So yeah they might get a greater share of the pie but less overall because the pie would be smaller. Looking into it Thomas did get a 4 year 40 million dollar contract in 2014 so he did get paid already. I guess he was just whining that his contract was coming up and he wanted longterm security. So Basically he is mad a team isnt massively regretting giving him a big contract right now. Honestly the best thing he can do is walk away. He has probably made 50+ million and can get a job at some level coaching if he wants it. Maybe he wont suffer as bad from CTE if he leaves early. But I should feel sorry that he doesnt take more hits to the head for money.

watching stream of NFL game and there was an AD for a Scientology channel. Had no idea that existed and disgusted the NFL would allow their ads.
