Score board watching

NL Central and NL West will be tied on the last day of the season. Heres hoping for a couple of extra games to decide the winners.

It looks like going off ESPN projected starters.

Dodgers throwing Buehler, Rockies using Marquez on 3 days rest, Cubs throwing Montgomery, and Brewers throwing Gio.

Dodgers/Rockies, Cubs/Brewers all tied heading into game 162.

If all 4 win or lose, would game 163 be on Monday i assume, and would the head to head record determine who hosts the game?

Dude this is absolute insanity. I am praying that they both remain tied after tomorrow. Its a win win. It would be insanely entertaining plus they would have to play an extra game which benefits us, especially if Colorado emerges victorious. The worst case scenario is a Dodgers win/Colorado loss coupled with a Cubs win/Brewers loss. That would suck

Dodgers using Rich Hill over Buehler, saving him for Monday or Tuesday, kinda figured that if it comes down to that.

So does the 1 game playoff benefit us in any way? From how I see it, none of the teams would be burning their game 1 starters.

Sorta would, Dodgers would be using Buehler, Rockies would be using Marquez, both would be unavailable until Game 3 of the NLDS. So it would probably be Kershaw and Ryu for LA, and Freeland and Gray/Sentazela/Anderson for the Rockies in the first 2 games.

If they tie and have to play 163 for the division.

The Braves CAN still have home field advantage if and only IF both Rockies and Dodgers lose today and Braves win!!

That would put the Braves 1 game up on both in standings for 2nd place. The outcome of the Cubs/Brewers race means nothing to the Braves standing wise.
