Donald Trump MOCKED a prisoner of war.

He MOCKED a disabled reporter.

He MOCKED a family who lost a son in battle.

And tonight he MOCKED a woman who was sexually assaulted.

Republicans, honestly, where is your basic humanity?

Going back to fall 2016 and discussions of Trumps claims of business acumen.

Perhaps those that disagreed with his claims will take time to read NYT 40,000 page expose. And perhaps now, 2 years later, understand why a failed casino owner might not be the best person to oversee the worlds largest economy

You know where it is. Waiting for a Democrat to be elected President. When they get outraged that President Whoever wears the wrong color suit and they point to the many scandals of Trump the Republicans will say "Trumps gone, why do you keep bringing him up"

All that is true, but the list is grossly incomplete.

He's mocked practically everyone in the GOP at one time or another, as well as most everyone working around him, and that's only what we know of.

He's mocked or insulted nearly every world leader except Putin, scores of people in the media and even his most loyal lap dogs, e.g. Giuliani, Bannon and Michael Cohen.

When they finally turn on him it ain't gonna be pretty.

Sarah Sanders on the NYT report:
"One thing the article did get right was that it showed that the president's father actually had a great deal of confidence in him"

NYT:
Fred stripped Donald of sole control of his estate due to Donald's failing businesses

I could not care less about his tax returns from 20 or even 10 years ago. The media should focus on what T and the GOP are doing now, the daily erosion of laws and regulations and how that effects the country.

We know he's a con man and a grifter but his father was only exploiting the system.

A hunch here is once Fred died the stream of revenue died. Where then did he get financing ?
We know no US banks would lend him money so where did he turn?

This is where Russia enters the picture.

One mans opinion
Yes, we should care about the tax returns -"follow the money"

I think this needs to be taken into consideration when talking about how "partisan" our legislative branch .
this chart shows only two US Senators that vote with Trump under 80% of the time.
Meaning 8 out of 10 times the entire (R) caucus votes as a bloc

Wondering how that stacks up historically

That's because he gives them what they want, mainly more of "their money' back in tax cuts and the gutting of regulations (good ones and bad ones) the whitewashing of rules the blind eye turned to big business's behavior, the destruction of government agencies and departments in favor of privatization. As long as they keep getting those things they'll keep voting with him, whether they enjoy it or whether they throw up after every vote. If and when he turns on them they'll do likewise. Let's see what the midterms do, personally I don't see them being the big blue wave the Dems are hoping for. The Repubs and their "machine" will come up with something at the last minute to turn the heads of those who would probably vote Dem today back into the fold, whether it be getting the religious leaders into lobbying or threatening or the promise of some other perk, or maybe the banging of the war drums will come out again.

Those who feel compelled to remake Ford into a politically motivated liar are part of the problem. Those who feel compelled to remake Kavanaugh into an ideologue and moral monster are part of the problem. Neither should be reduced to the symbolic objects of someone else’s rage.

Gerson is an anti-Trump Republican.

But this @SenatorCollins-style moral equivalence, dressed up in florid rhetoric,

shows why and how Trump annexed the GOP.

and to my Republican friends.
How did Trump hijack your party ?

I am curious what you think

I'm wouldn't call myself a Republican or Democrat, but Trump and the Republicans are pushing me further and further to the left. I think most republicans don't like Trump, but lots of their constituents do, and going against Trump would cause them trouble at home.
However, I think the main reason they sit by and do nothing is that Trump is giving them most of the things they want while Trump is taking all of the hate and blame. They can sit back, get their tax breaks, gut Obamacare, etc and let Trump get the headlines.
I think that once they have what they want, or when Trump goes a little to far in their eyes, they will all turn on him.
