Brewers looking good
Yeah Milwaukee bullpen blew game 2. I am most surprised with their starters being effective as they have been.
Its almost unfathomable to understand how the Brewers are dominating the best hitting team in the NL with a patchwork rotation of Wade Miley, Gio Gonzalez, Jhoulys Chacin, and Brandon Woodruff.
I mean we all know pitching is what wins in October, but usually it’s stud pitching. In the case of Milwaukee it’s timely pitching coming from mediocre pitchers.
This is what we call getting hot at the right time. AKA - playoffs are a crapshoot.
even a very good lineup like the Dodgers can go into a slump during a short series...that's really what is happening...not the Brewers pitching great
Dodgers are currently the opposite of 'getting hot at the right time'. playoffs are still a crapshoot
that's usually what happens when an inferior team wins a short series...the superior team goes cold
of course sports narratives are constructed to be more interesting...so those emphasize the heroics of an underdog type player like David Eckstein...everyone likes to root for Frodo
Sounds like the Astros have followed the Patroits are up to some shady things.
Machado was a likable player before he was traded to LA. Now he’s become a cocky punk.
