Some traditionalists might not like it, but I actually think it's pretty cool. The Dodgers have an unfair advantage of having platoon splits and depth, and this was a unique way of neutralizing that.
 
Meanwhile, the Dodgers continue to get shut down by the Brewers unknown starting pitchers. It's kind of crazy.

Just saw the HR called on out. Pretty harsh on the fan who "interferred" on the play. Looked like he was pretty much just standing there trying to catch the ball before it hit him.

Yeah, it worked out, but I wonder if the "smart" play there is to play the ball on the hop and concede one run - don't think the guy on second scores on that if it falls in.
 
Gawd I hate the Dodgers. Nothing would please me more than to see them lose this series in epic fashion. Like Machado booting a routine grounder in the bottom of the 9th with a 4 run lead which leads to a Brewers win with a Jesus Aguilar inside the park homerun.

I’ve always wondered how that is interpreted if the fan is sporting the other teams colors. I know there is nothing in a rule book, but knowing that if you “interfere” it could result in an out and subsequently you are helping your team out. The fan last night potentially cost his team the game and series.

I dunno who's watching, but the ump just missed a clear strike 3 which would have struck out JD Martinez, and he homered on the next pitch. That's such a Braves playoff thing to happen.
