I think one of the advantages of being as old as I am is that I have lived through some sh*t, but as wild as the 1960s were with assassinations, violence against civil rights demonstrators, and the Days of Rage in reaction to the Vietnam War, it never got as bad on a personal scale as it seems to be right now. I think political demonstrations opposing other political demonstrations is all well and good as long as they don't turn into Charlottesville, but this hounding of people has gotten to the point of madness. I think it's alright to see someone on the street who works for Trump and say "I really don't agree with what you guys are advocating," in a stern voice, but it's another to chase them out of a restaurant. Same goes for the other side. No one should be relishing this.

frankly, minorities and women are doing better under Trump... seems that would make folks happy but of course it doesnt
