The 2018 Midterms

dude... what is wrong with you. you used to be somewhat rational.

the argument is that the county has not followed protocol at all, and cannot prove that the votes are legitimate, and continue to not answer how how many votes have been counted and are left. they are breaking the law

Everyone - literally everyone - wants the votes counted. But we want the legit votes counted and this county continues to break laws and can't prove which are legit or not. Oh, and ms. Snipes has already been caught destroying and altering votes in the past. One might understand why we want to be sure everything is above board.

But I know your small man syndrome can't comprehend this so continue on with your narrative. Just remember that you are wrong... have been wrong, and apparently are fine continuing being wrong. It's like you want to act like Trump.
I'm sure both sides have hired good legal teams...it will end up in court if anyone engages in shenanigans...given that the GOP has controlled the governorship for most of the past 24 years I cant imagine that the judges they have appointed will be hostile to their case should they choose to file one

the article linked below contains some interesting observations from the former chief justice of the Florida Supreme Court

I don’t care about the protocol

I care about the votes and counting them.

So weird for you to not stick up for one of the most constitutional thing we have as citizens

But hey, I care about counting votes and you care about procedure.

Which votes? The legal votes? No one is disputing those, and those should have been on hand within 30 minutes after the polls closed. So why are more showing up 3 days later?

I care about legit votes not fantasy ones.

The protocol is there to ensure they aren't falsified.

This isn't complicated. But since this massive breach is helping your tribe, you're all for it.

You can't in good conscience say how much you hate Trump for how unethical and immoral he is while also cheering along Snipes. And also lying about the complaint from Republicans. That's what we call fake news

funny how people are now experts on Florida election law and the ins and outs of voting while black in a red state.
I know Florida people that mailed in ballots in plenty of time that were returned by mail - uncounted the day after the election
That happened. And is happening

Why aren't there these problems in states governed by (D).
or even why does Florida only have voting issues while (R) are governors and close elections where prominent (R) stand a chance of losing?

As in the Governors brother or in this case the governor himself

It seems the problem consistently lies in the heavily Democratic and unbelievably incompetent Browand County.

So good point

I think those are valid questions. It could be that Broward County officials screwed up and failed to comply with election law. The question then becomes does that screw up invalidate the votes in question. I'll link the article I linked earlier with some quotes from the former Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court.

Must have missed the edit/addendum to above post.
Talking about returned ballots -- that weren't Broward County votes

You don't know **** about voting in Florida.
Except what Fox wants you to know

Frankly I think it does.

Incompetence has consequences

It sure does. But who should bear those consequences? The voters who did nothing wrong? The candidates who also did nothing wrong in this situation? The judges and legal system will have to sort this out. Hopefully it will not turn out that those mistakes affect enough votes to potentially change the outcome.

If you can somehow prove without doubt that votes werent falsified, then let them count and fire everyone who was involved.

If you cant, how can you count those votes? Have they even still reported how many votes are left (seems like the answer is "however many they need")

" What propaganda ? "

Propaganda is what happens when you think "Republicans just don't want to count the votes"

And "Browand county is acting lawfully"

And "masked people harassing media members' wife at night on private property is a conspiracy"

You fall for it every time though.

One great thing about Trump is he has truly exposed how untruthful, unethical, and biased the media is.

I agree. If there is any reason to doubt the integrity of those votes they should be thrown out.

I've always wondered about some big precincts holding back their votes until late in the night. I think Chicago did that to help JFK get elected in 1960. It might be a sensible thing to embargo reporting of the results from the early reporting precincts until the late reporting ones come in.

Republican judge who was exposed for being responsible for a large percent of juveniles in state prisons releases all defendants after losing his seat to a democrat and then stopped showing up for work. Absolute disgrace. Should be disbarred for this ****. He abused his authority to try and make a political statement. He said this is what voters want because he lost.

This from @nytimes is the best cartogram of the US I've seen. How we portray the US shapes our political imagination;

given the representation disparities of the Senate and Electoral College, more than ever we need to depict

the US in units of population rather than land.
