i think it takes a willful aversion of the gaze not to see that
1) Putin penetrated the Trump campaign and
2) senior figures in the Trump campaign (including Trump) knew about it, and some of them knowingly abetted this penetration

Also sav, I've been very critical of Trump when it's called for (spending, response to syria, tarrifs)...
But I'm a much larger defender of simple rationality and that triggers the left to no end so I understand why you don't see the critical areas.
As it stands, from a results perspective, he's done laps around Obama and Bush... But I won't be voting for him in 2020 if you cared to know

Well surely there's enough evidence of this by now to take him down since it's so obvious.
What is Mueller waiting for? Why is letting our democracy die? We're halfway into the term at this point it seems it'll be faster to just beat him an election

i do think you deserve credit for sticking to your willful obtuseness and claims that this is all a witch hunt and that there is no evidence of collusion...consistency...i give you that much

There was a chart somewhere that showed how long Watergate, White Water, Iran Contra etc and other investigations went on for how long.
Mueller has gone through this investigation extremely quicker than others (probably helps the President continues to tweet guilt and lies almost everyday) and has produced more indictments.

It's amazing Trump has produced MVP caliber results on the field considering theres the deep state witchhunt actively preventing him from making America Great Again. So much talent to play offense and defense at an elite level simultaneously. If only...

just to add a data point (since sturg claims to be such a big fan of data), Patrick Fitzgerald was appointed special counsel in the Plame investigation in December 2003 and didn't return an indictment until October 2005. And that was a much much simpler case than the one Mueller is working on
In fairness, nscapi also knew Camargo and Acuna were going to be golden long before anyone else on the board or any journalists were talking about it.
I'm considering charging premium access for people to be able to engage in discussion with him.

much of the evidence regarding this whole Trump-Russia matter is out in the open...much of it happened in the open
but let's not confuse that with actually establishing some of the facts that need to established to make the case stick in court...that's an entirely different matter...and that's what Mueller has to do...and of course not seeing that distinction is another example of the willful obtuseness you have displayed throughout the discussions we've had about this matter

Well in sturg's eyes and many MAGA guys, obstruction of justice is not collusion. Even when the obstruction of justice in question was obstructing the investigation whose purpose was to expose the collusion that was in question to begin with.
To them the fact Trump has tried to downplay or weaken the case/investigation is further proof there's no collusion at all to begin with.
Mueller and his team have been very very consistent from the beginning. No leaks. By the book.
Trump and his team have been leaking to the media every few weeks "Sources say Mueller investigation coming to a close very soon" for the last year now.
They're too obtuse to see the tactics Trump's team have tried to use to control the narrative because they hate liberals that much.

At this point he will lose re election before Mueller proves anything.
You can't on one hand tell me how treasonous and terrible this is and that were being ruled by Putin, and then say "two years isn't enough time..."
If your accusations are true this has to be expedited. Trump's already picked two supreme Court justices. He's making permenant tax law. He's starting trade wars (with Russia allies).
If this is all Putin we need to move faster than government precedent (I'm being serious)

What do you think happens first, Mueller gets him for collusion or the Germans take him down? I know both are imminent
