I think it’s dumb to criticize Trump for not visiting troops deployed overseas, because it’s manifestly obvious that he doesn’t give a **** about anyone but himself, and it’s one of those empty pro-forma political gestures anyway. And you are correct that some people are going to criticize him either way. But when you’re talking about “derangement syndrome,” you really have to get a bit of self-awareness. You routinely post tweets from randos (this guy was the unsuccessful D candidate for Paul Ryan’s seat) to make your points about this or that thing, like it wouldn’t be dead simple to do the corresponding thing in the other direction...the thing is, you have to care enough to do it. Clearly you do, which maybe indicates that you’ve got a touch of Owning the Libs Syndrome.

I've stated many many times that Trump has so much to legitimately criticize, yet it all gets diluted when he gets criticized for literally everything. Goldy was an example on this board, and then super and sav quickly jumped on to the "props!" narrative.

As Cuomo stated in one of my earlier posts, "The partisanship that forces you to ignore all that isn't negative is toxic"

I appreciate the reasonable reply, though.

That got forgotten in the fog of throwing paper towels in PR after the island was (still is) devastated by a natural disaster where the Trump admin got less than -- well, less than ...

We have to hold his feet to the fire everyday because seems everyday he does something where we each say that this has to be the nadir.
But then he all but tells a 7 year old --- well, you know what he did.

He is the ****ing President of the USA - and he says that to a 7 year old.

Lucky for the 7 year old his/her parents are citizens (?) -- or he/she might wind up in a cage

5 years ago I was called partisan for advocating some form of climate regulation

15 years ago for advocting for LGBT -- all pretty mainstream stuff today

Now I am partisan for criticizing the President for giving up Santa to a 7 year old

As ****ty as it sounds thats the reality of low income housing if you want to make a profit. I have managed HUD homes. It might not make you racist but I guarantee you you will end up making decisions that on the outside appear racist if you manage low income housing.

must be over 20 investigations currently running of his businesses, his campaign, his foundation, his transition and inauguration, and his administration...most involve potential criminal activity by people he appointed or hired
 
It takes some serious chutzpah for a guy whose political signature is anti-immigrant demagoguery to be making a significant part of his living in the hospitality industry.
