It is worth pointing out that the FBI and the rest of the intelligence community have worked over the years for quite a few presidents of both parties and of varying ideological beliefs without once opening such an investigation. Until now.

Yeah and with the comments that people like Brennan/Comey have made after leaving their 'dignified' positions it makes you wonder what exactly did Obama do to these esteemed departments.

Investigations don’t start with proof. That’s not how it works. It starts with a reasonable suspicion, publicly available evidence is gathered to see if probable cause can be established for further searches and eventually a decision is made whether or not to charge.


The idea that you have to have the proof before you can investigate is stupid on its face.

I agree, but regardless of what he's done, sadly it's going to play out as a purely political power struggle.

At the very least, he's a self-serving, pathological liar and grossly unsuited and unprepared for his job. He's a terrible manager and a disgraceful person.
