Any 1st year law student could've known it would be wise to open an investigation on the known criminal and con man. Add that all the odd connection with Russia and it was a no-brainer.
And yet Mueller by all accounts has not picked up that aspect of the investigation at all and as the Times reported there was no evidence of such a crime.
Its been obvious since day 1 what this was all about and hopefully you guys will see that when Muellers 'anti-climatic' report is issued.
If that ends up being the case then there are a lot of people within the intelligence committee and congress that have a lot of explaining to do.

Everybody knew that if you go investigating a known crook and con man you will find crimes and criminals. Add to that basic premise the dubious looking Russia stuff and you've got the crisis we're now in. The people who elected this criminal are to blame. Everybody knew what he was.
But what about all the indictments that have nothing to do with collusion?

What crimes has Trump committed that have impacted anyone? All I see is a booming econcomy, a more closely unified Korean peninsula than we have had in over 50 years, spotlighting of issues with our immigration system, rising wages and the long overdue talks of brining out troops home. What a horrible orange man!!

Mueller is playing the long game. Bringing quick charges against Trump would be a mistake. Better to let public opinion erode while slowly boxing him in.
Everyday Trump adds to his list of lies and obstructive statements.
I personally hope no charges are brought against him while he's in office. If he's outed now, Pence will just pardon him. Better to bring the charges after he's lost the election and have a Dem President who refuses to pardon him.

Why wouldn't he try to obstruct/shut-down a sham of an investigation when you consider the damage it is causing his presidency and the country? This damage was always the goal from the deep state anyway since there was never any evidence of their claims.
