Video of Kimbrel

LOL....World Series title here we come

Not many managers use their closer on the road tie or down, playoffs are different though.

Agree with Keith that Kimbrel doesnt seem to do well past 1 inning.

As President of the Fredi G. Faithful, you know I am generally inclined to give Fredi G. (g for god) the benefit of the doubt. But his managing during this series, it saddens me to say, was indeed suspect.

Outside of not using Kimbrel for 2, what was so bad?

We got thumped in Games 1-3.

Won Game 2.

Btw, if he was gonna use Kim for 2, start him to start the inning, not with a fast runner on 2nd.

Nothing. Nothing at all. Outside of his mistakes, he was perfect.

I think we have covered that multiple times. You just go ahead and Heyward it about a bit.

I'm not sure anything he does changes the results on Game 1 and 3.

Only thing i'd argue is Kimbrel for 2 innings in Game 4, that's about it.

We got beat by a better team.

Your Heyward is perfect, as one would expect.

Let me put what you said in a different light - I'm not sure anything McCann could do would change the results of Game 1 and 3. You might be right. McCann still sucked.

I wonder what this thread would have looked like if Fredi did use Kimbrel and he gave up the lead in the 8th or 9th. How many of you would have bashed Fredi nonstop for using Kimbrel in an atypical way? My guess: pretty much all of you.

Fact is they went into the series with a BP plan, and Fredi stuck to it. That plan wasn't created by Fredi alone. Fredi did NOT just decide in the spur of the moment in the 8th inning to stick with Carpenter...that decision was made hours/days in advance. The plan was to use Kimbrel for 4 outs max, and everyone (probably even Kimbrel himself) bought into that plan before the series even started.

The Dodgers beat the Braves because they were better.

Again this argument is brought up, and again I will point out that many were calling to use Kimbrel at the time. Many here wanted it.

Some here won't admit that it's possible Fredi is just a bad, stubborn, dumb manager. There have been many. More bad than good. Why isn't he one of the bad ones? This decision of his ended our season when it didn't have to end.

Lesser teams win in baseball all the time. Don't give me that.

Yeah, you're right, we would of won the series if you were manager.

Dodgers played like a better team all series, not sure outside of the Kimbrel thing anything he does changes the results.

So, keep trolling.

SO we shouldn't try our best to win because the Dodgers looked better?
You're an idiot.

Our chances of winning the game were better if we use Kimbrel in the 8th. There's no two ways about it. If you can't admit that, you're in denial about Fredi's poor decisions. Instead of being real.

I've already said i would of used him for 2 innings, einstein.
