EY,Jr released by Os. Is he a better option than Duval??

Fromm MLBTR

Young, now 33 years old, enjoyed a strong spring with the O’s, hitting .323/.462/.452 with a homer, a double and a pair of stolen bases.

I am debating on if I would rather have the old regime back over this **** storm of disgrace. The only factor is that Terry McDork has been in charge for both and is probably a huge factor in our failures. Tying us to risk commercial development was not smart. Especially when you have to use such a huge portion of revenue to pay debt down. When this season blows up and fans stop going to the battery, you guys will see how bad terry’s decisions were.

I'll be tuning in every night watching and cheering my guys on, but this season does kind of feel like it has a "blow up" feel to it. Sigh. We did very little this off season, watched everyone else in the division make move after move, and at the same time we've made head scratching moves such as sit on Duvall all spring and watch him fail. And it's at the point now no matter what we do we're damned if we do and damned if we don't. We cut him and we won't have many options to to fill his roster spot with, and if we don't cut him lose we're needlessly spending money on crap production. This truly has been a **** show of an off season. And what really sucks about it is it came off the heels of an amazing and momentous season last year. We really could have built off that momentum but nope, we decided to sit back and do nothing and watch everyone else in the division pass us (except Miami).

It feels more like a wait and see and hope season to me. Let’s see if Donaldson returns to form. Let’s see if you g pitchers come around. Let’s see if dufail can bounce back. Let’s see if Mac still has something left. Let’s see if Neck can repeat 1st half magic. Let’s see. Let’s see. **** getting better. Let’s just see if we can get better.

Sure anyone of the division rivals news guys can face plant. But is there really anyone questioning Corbin, cano, seagurer, Robinson, Diaz, Harper, JTR, cutch won’t make their team better next season.

They definitely didn’t live up to the expectations heading into the offseason. They failed on Duval and COF big time. They know it but would never admit it.

4 walks in 8 ST innings. AA isn't playing around with that ****

It also saves the Braves 1.2 million in 2019 salary for whatever it's worth.

If walks get you cut from this team, we will have a very thin pitching staff and Newk should be fired into the sun.

DOB saying its down to us and the Brewers for Kimbrel.

This was my initial thought when Freeman was cut. Would't be surprised to see Duvall cut either if it meant being able to pony up enough for Kimbrel. Still would be shocked to see it happen all things considered.
