Let's Talk About Media

DId MSNBC report this guys? You actually think media matters cares about words?

The dust-up between Amazon.com Inc. AMZN +0.09% founder Jeff Bezos and National Enquirer parent American Media LLC has raised questions about the media company’s connections to Saudi Arabia.

American Media has had plenty of contacts with Saudi Arabia in recent years, including seeking financial backing from Saudi investors to fund acquisitions and producing a magazine celebrating the country’s new crown prince.

It also sought advice last year from the U.S. Justice Department over whether the publisher should register as a foreign agent, a person familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal.

The issue of the ties came up last week when Mr. Bezos took to the internet to push back against what he said was an extortion attempt by the National Enquirer against him over an extramarital affair that the tabloid reported on last month featuring photos and texts. He said he launched his own probe into how the publication obtained his texts as well as its motives and wrote that the “Saudi angle seems to hit a particularly sensitive nerve.”

An attorney for American Media Chief Executive David Pecker on Sunday denied the company had engaged in extortion and said the source of the information for the coverage “was not Saudi Arabia.”

Who is the real conspiracy backer now?

They are all realizing now - It has been a hoax that the Obama administration pushed on the country.

People should be in jail.

People are in jail or going to jail. Manafort. Flynn. Cohen. Etc.

I also believe it's not "over". Mueller farmed out the cases to other prosecutors, plus I believe he will let Barr and Congress decide what to do with the findings of the Report since it will be symbolically bipartisan in nature as opposed to him rounding everyone up.

It's very telling Trump has gone on Twitter silence since the Report has been submitted. He's been hyping the no collusion train for 2 years and attacking the Special Counsel for that amount of time. The fact he's held off and been on a twitter gag (probably forced to by his Lawyers like they did during the Comey testimony) says a lot. I have no doubt he'll go on a twitter storm this weekend, gaslighting again once his lawyers tell him what he can and can't tweet about.
