A few things that jumped out to me -

Intrigued by the pitching staff. Lot of our guys from last year's draft in Trey Riley, Victor Vodnik, Jake Higginbotham and Nolan Kingham. Riley and Vodnik in particular could be fun to watch.

Odalvi Javier repeating Rome feels strange.

Pretty surprised they're starting Darling Florentino here. He'll be 17 until May and wasn't exactly impressive in the GCL last year. Still seems like he's an interesting guy to follow considering we don't have much as far as international signees go, and there was some positive buzz about him last year despite the ugly numbers.

I'm interested to see what Andrew Moritz does with a full season. He really hit in college and had a nice season in Danville in 2018.

I guess it does make sense talent wise, but a tad surprised Moritz was left at Rome.

Also just realized Kurt Hoekstra converted to a pitcher after putting up mediocre numbers as a hitter in recent years.

You can almost pick the Florida roster after seeing the Rome roster. OF of Jenista, Wilson, and Ramos. Contreras, Herbert, and Lugbauer at C (with Lugbauer logging some time in the IF). SS/2B combo of Graffanino and Cruz. Things are a little hazy at 3B and 1B.

I believe Lugbauer will be first base.

Riley Delgado had a nice season in Rome and Florida last year. Presumably he will play around the infield for Florida. He was drafted as a college senior and has been a bit old for his level. Not really a prospect but a good organizational player.

Herbert was released last week

I've already got my tickets. I'll send some updates throughout the year. Pretty excited to see Rome, MS, and ft Florida this year.

The downside of being a Rome fan is that the guys who are exciting don't stick around long.

Who should I be keeping an eye on this year?
