I can't believe Snit went with three LHH in a row. Josh needed something, maybe a day off will help. Swanson is off to a blazing start at the plate and I wouldn't want to move him up to hit second and chance messing up his mojo by moving him out of the eighth hole.

I feel a good game coming from Wright. It will be nice for him to be able to actually feel his hands this start. The only thing holding us back from The Elephant bouncing and Emma dancing is the BP so hopefully the offense will stay hot and they will have a bit more margin for error and no near heart attacks like last night.

Because they are facing a RH starter that has gone deep in games in his young career and RH is Ozzie's most effective side at the dish.

I meant to add that LHH is Ozzie's worse side but I don't know who else they could have moved up in the order.

It was pretty much a given JD was getting today off.
This may be Wright’s final chance for a while to show he belongs in the rotation after Folty comes back. Either he or Newk will likely be replaced. If he has another poor showing with the control he’s probably following Wilson to AAA.

I’m going to guess the genius who you quoted forgot Albies is a switch hitter.
This lineup is just fine for days JD sits.
The point of not going with 3 straight LHH is so the opposing manager can’t bring in a single LHP to face 3 batters with the platoon advantage.
The fact Albies is better as a RHH does precisely that.
