we are talking about different things...if he has made hateful comments directed at certain groups of course that's wrong and he should be called out for that

my contribution to this discussion has focused on his pro Trump comments...that to me is more interesing... partly based in personal experience...over the past couple years I've encountered people, some that I know and some I dont know, who have volunteered their pro Trump sentiments...often interjecting this into conversations that are far removed from politics...I just find it an interesting phenomenon

if course that part is just silly...it should be possible to make comments about a musician without it being twisted into a racial thing...otoh it is also possible to discuss music in a way that is racist

About as fun as your excuse of Nick liking LeBron and Tiger not making him be racist. You can be racist and still like two African American athletes that billions of people like. If you'd said he idolizes Bismack Biyombo and Harold Varner III then you might have a leg to stand on.

And now we apparently have some sort of ranking system whereby the level of fame / cultural significance of the African American you support somehow determines whether you not you are a racist. I'd be interested to see the whole list and where the cutoff is. LeBron James = proves nothing...Bismack Biyombo = well now you may have something there.

If Bosa had said negative things about LeBron instead of positive things, those tweets would not have shown up in that article and you wouldn't be using them as part of your case, right?

I didn’t bring LeBron into this, you did. If he had said LeBron looks like a fish or joked about his hairline the internet would have more than likely broken. I’m a LeBron Stan so I would be screaming to the high heavens even more so what a racist Nick Bosa is. OTOH if D-Wade had tweeted that Nick looked like Casper I’d have called him on it. Racism on any level is not acceptable! Nick went to college in a state that is LeBron so it is understandable that he would like him. Once again you can be racist but still like certain black (or white) athletes.

It is a figure of speech not literally. He likes three black people. He and his brother are still either really dumb and/or racist. Happy now? He doesn’t support Black Lives Matter, that shows he sure loves black people!

The actual title of the article is... MAGA-Loving, Colin Kaepernick-Hating Top NFL Draft Prospect Seems to Hate Everything Black. It’s not my fault the entire article title wouldn’t fit in the original post title. If you’d have opened the link and read it you’d have seen that.
