Despite what 50 asserts, Venters is coming off a good season and won comeback player of the year in doing so. A slow start shouldn't get him released this early, if anything you DL him and see how he does after a rehab in AAA. Or just use him sparingly vs a lefty here and there like TB did at one point last year hoping he gets going again.

much needed split, great game by teheran too. Donaldson became a difference maker again the last two nights making sure we got this split.
 
After losing the first two and knowing we'd face deGrom on Sunday night, gotta be pretty happy with a split.
