Sign him and he won’t be ready until when you think? Mid May maybe? And alll is mute when we won’t be able to get to him because the abundance of trash ass Quad A arms we have won’t allow it.
 
BTW, with how well the pen has pitched since opening weekend, don’t expect any sudden, drastic moves. Maybe an addition with the uncertainty of Viz.

If we are basing it on the kids’ extensions and his ability to bargain shop with position players this past offseason then yes...

If it’s in terms of bullpen arms then NO. It’s been a complete failure. A bullpen with an ERA of 4.15 and near the tops in the league in walks last season requires fixing. They did NOTHING.

Look man I don’t know what else you all need to see to comprehend that he screwed the pooch on the bullpen this season. How is tonight not an obvious indicator?
 
Try not to overreact for 1 or 2 games. Hell even after a handful of games. But our pull pen has sucked for the better part of last season as well and has not been addressed
 
We definitely are thin in the bullpen but it’s not too late to address it. Viz is out and that pushes everyone into a more prominent role. Then we have a lot of arms competing to be in the rotation. Eventually I suspect one or two of them may be able to help in the bullpen. Then we definitely have the resources to bring someone in if needed. Kimberly is the obvious name but not the only option.
 
Giving your young, very talented pitchers a chance to sink or swim at the major league level (a.k.a. gaining the necessary experience to become truly valuable) is going to involve some sinking. And surely a lot of splashing around.
