Good final 2 games, despite the bad series vs AZ, somehow 1 GB in the division.
Its a shame he wasnt ready last year. We could have beat the dodgers.

Fried for CY?
I'm really starting to come around on him, certainly. If he can stay healthy and consistent all year, he looks like a guy capable of putting up some good numbers. I do want to see the strikeout rate continue to improve, though.
I only got to see about two innings of Fried but he looked like he didn’t have great command of his curve. He walked two that inning I think. Although some of those pitches were strikes. But even then he stayed out of the middle of the zone and never looked rattled. Really digging what he is doing. Which brings me to my point. He is on record as saying working out of the pen last year really helped him last year. I wonder if we did that with wright/wilso/touki would be more beneficial to their growth later this year. We are married to this pitching and we are going to live and die by it.
he only "struggled" in the 1st and 2nd. and the zone seemed tight.
