I grieve for the loss of my brothers and sisters in Christ. On Easter morning our congregation celebrated the day with baptisms and communion while grieving the death of brothers and sisters that were hoping to do likewise. May their souls enjoy the bliss of direct communion with our Lord and may their bodies rest in peace until that coming day and their sure hope of resurrection for Christ is risen! Christ is risen indeed!

I grieve for the loss of fellow image-bearers of God in New Zealand, Muslims. May their families know a peace that passes understanding even in the brokenness and pain that they still feel.

I grieve that there are ideologies on the left and on the right that turn fellow image-bearers with divine dignity into targets of hatred, injustice, subjugation, persecution and even death.

Such hatred, sin, wickedness, evil and dark ideologies, spawn of Hell, will not have the final word. They have an expiration date. For the crucified Christ is risen! Christ is risen indeed!

Blessings to you all who see something, if not everything, that is wrong in this beautiful world and long for more, for better. And may I humbly say that I think everyone on this thread, sees some portion of the evil that would destroy us all.

Reading about it, that is some place I can live. I would not live in the city but out in the country and just study nature. It is quite diverse. Africa is a little dangerous with the crocs and cats.

Actually verified sources said that really happened. Not Faux, MSNBC, but international news.

But that is what they would do, it is in their history dictated by their husbands and fathers.

Don't lessen the fact that kids will not live to be adults and that is the real problem I have here.

We have heard of school bombings of children in the past, why? Does these kids have a right to live and not their lives snuffed out like this?

of course those kids have a right to their lives

and people have a right to practice their religion without being tarred as terrorists and murderers...we see in this thread and in our political discourse an entire religious community characterized that way...even though very very few of them practice any sort of violence...they are for the most part regular people like the rest of us who want to get on with their lives without being hassled
