I don't think we're signing him until after the draft, if at all. I wish we'd go ahead and bring him in, but doesn't seem likely that he'll be here before June. As bad as our pen is it's not even the worst in the division, so would not surprise me to see someone else snatch him

I said in the GDT last night I don't think Anthopoulos has any intentions to sign Kimbrel at all.
 
I think AA will sign Kimbrel right after the draft. There’s been no rumors of Kimbrel going anywhere in a while. I think they have an agreement but are waiting till the day after the draft to make it official.

If that's the case I'm guessing it would be of the 3 or 4 year variety that Kimbrel is rumored to be holding out for
 
Maybe the fact that our pitchers have to guess what they threw while talking to the catcher who called the game is part of the problem. :happy0157:
