Have you read the report? Barr's account was absolutely not accurate, nor was a clearly partisan opinion about the report even necessary. That's why you have a report. Barr's account was nothing more than seizing smoke for the criminal in the WH.

Mueller literally said that Barrs report was accurate. On what basis can you still push this debunked conspiracy theory?

why should the DOJ not allow mueller to testify? what excuse they cooking up so Mueller can't set the record (and the lies) straight?

trump and barr wanted this to be confusing and messy. if it were easily understood, it would be easy to understand all the criminality.

I literally quoted the part of the article that matter.

Mueller said he was not happy with how the media was covering the summary, not that the summary was wrong.

The question that I come back to is what did Barr think he was accomplishing by lying under oath like this and publicly mischaracterizing Mueller's findings. The report would eventually come out for everyone to read. Someday Mueller will testify. As far as I can tell all Barr has succeeded in doing is taking a torch to his reputation. Sad. Beyond stupid. Braindead really.

I don't know what path he has been on. But I remain puzzled at what he thought he was gaining by acting in the way he did. The report was going to come out. Mueller will testify. What is the point of pushing these lies which were bound to boomerang. It seems incredibly stupid.

that might be their hope and their reasoning...but in the end all they are doing is making a very bad situation worse for themselves...it is better to get all the bad news out right away...now there is this accumulation of drip drip drip...fighting having McGahn and Mueller testify will just make it worse when they ultimately testify...and they will testify
