Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

It may very well be troublesome. The point is that the CI investigation was well-predicated without it.

As for Page not being charged, who knows? CI investigations are designed to understand hostile intelligence operations, not to bring criminal charges. Page, like a lot of other key players here, mostly comes off as a dingus trying to use the campaign to make a play for himself. The report states that the investigation did not establish that he was involved in coordinating any malfeasance involving the Russians and the campaign, though it also states that it was unable to establish what he had discussed or any business he had transacted while meeting with several senior officials and executives.

Old news. ANd he wasn't a "source" he was invited there and was basically briefed and debriefed.

Flynn was charged because he didn't disclose everything. But ignoring the conservative opinions. Lets go to the facts

"Call the Post, Flynn said. Tell them there were no sanctions discussions. Even though she knew better, the aide, K.T. McFarland, did as she was told.

It was the first lie about Flynn’s Russia contacts. It wouldn’t be the last."

"He also lied about a follow-up phone call and another matter: On Dec. 21, 2016, when Egypt pushed a resolution at the United Nations critical of Israeli settlements in Palestinian areas, Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner turned to Flynn to push for the Kremlin to oppose the move. Flynn had unsuccessfully pressured Kislyak on the issue. But he told the agents otherwise."

It doesnt change the charges. As ive said for years now. The onrs running the investigation (obama admin) had ulterior motives and it wasnt about the sanctity of our elections.

Who is laughing? Hysterical leftists that cant get over you lost?

Stop it. Muellers report is out and the overarching conclusion wasade that not enough evidence existed to convict. Its all curcumstantial without any smoking gun.

Americans are thriving due to thhs administration and reaal issues like immigration are now at the forefront.

Keep focussing on russia and socialism. Youll see who does the laughing in the end.

This is quite the victory for the President. Only circumstantial evidence of accepting campaign help from Russia.

Now that I'm home:

The Hill article you posted stated this:
The briefing educated and sensitized Flynn to possible efforts by his Russian host to compromise the former high-ranking defense official and prepared him for conversations in which he could potentially extract intelligence for U.S. agencies such as the DIA.

How would you define source?

He wasn't a source is typically someone who exists in an system. I mean technically speaking calling him a source is probably damning as it implies deep knowledge and trust in the russian system.

They were preparing him to potentially be a source.

This Is your own article. The intelligence community wanted him to get them information and they prepped him to do so. Even knowing this they still investigated him about the meeting they prepped him for. It wasn't an honest investigation because it was led by partisans who did not want to lose power.

Sure, that's the conclusion to draw. Even if no one in the investigation tried to convict him of anything of that nature and he lied about plenty of other things that he did.

Dude, they busted Flynn on process crimes. They knew the nature of the conversations.

It was a partisan investigation from the get go. The only real thing that Flynn did wrong was what all of Washington does regarding foreign money.

It was a sham.

Any discussion on the confirmation of spying on the trump campaign?

They should've been keeping an eye on him, as we can all now attest. He's a crook and a liar. He has no idea what he is doing in foreign policy. As a deal maker he's a joke. Why would any country make a deal with him? He'll change his mind the next day. He would and will break any law he thinks he can get away with, and he admitted that he thinks like this when he said he could shoot someone on Main Street and get away with it.

And those around him, the few sane ones in his administration, can attest to why one has to be vigilant with him at the helm. Most of his impulses are either dangerous, against the law or both.

I really don't think the "spying", if that's what you want to call it, was politically motivated, but for the same reason people are being watched this very second, some people can't be trusted. Trump is one of these people. He's a crook. He should be in jail. Him being in a position of power is a danger to the country and indeed, the rest of the world. World order and world peace is precarious and fragile.

Ironically, Trump is the one who should be in a cage and fortunately, I believe the officials in govt who hold the day to day power have mostly kept Trump in a cage.

One of the biggest takeaways from the Mueller Report is that Trump’s subordinates clearly saved him—on multiple occasions—from a slam-dunk, bow-wrapped obstruction case...basically by just ignoring his instructions.

I don't think they saved him. If a general orders the massacre of a village and the soldiers refuse to fire, I believe the general is still guilty of a crime. If a mafia boss orders a hit and somehow the target survives, I believe that is also still a crime. If my neighbor shoots at me three times and somehow misses, he is still guilty.
