Game of Thrones

And those writers are heading up the next Star Wars trilogy. Hopefully Disney is paying attention to all the negative backlash

The same company that gave Rian Johnson a trilogy based off internal impressions of the Last Jedi. Don't hold your breathe.

That was disappointing. Still an amazing show over all. Writing just tanked a bit at the end. Briennes arc ending writing about Jamie I didn't like. I wanted Jon to end up north again, just not being forced to the Night Watch which really isn't needed anymore. Everything with Bron is laughable.

Jon petting Ghost made me happy though

I loved it.

House Stark won EVERYTHING.

The North.
6 Kingdoms.
Whatever is West of Westeros.
North beyond the North.

Queen Stark.
King Stark.
Conqueror Stark.
King of the Free Folk Stark.

Ned played the long con and won.

As soon as Greyworm sailed away, couldn’t Jon have just stayed there? He didn’t have to leave

Yeah, there was absolutely no reason to actually exile Jon to the (entirely useless) wall unless the entire point was that they thought he’d be happiest there and pulled a fast one on Grey Worm.

Bran knew. Because he knew how well Jon fit in with the Free Folk since Bran knows his history.

He also knew Jon didn't want to be King of North or KL.

This is fair and it would be tough for Sansa since Jon was named king in the north.

Bran the busted? Terrible ending

There were two better options for King...

A) Tormund
B) literally everyone other then Bran

Not really. She is a Stark girl.

The Starks will go down in history as being owed a big debt to Westeros.

It was a Stark (Jon) that made peace with the Wildlings.
It was a Stark (Jon and Arya) that defeated the Night King and saved the realm of men from eternal darkness.
It was a Stark (Jon and Sansa, and Arya) that avenged the Red Wedding and retook the North from the traitors.
It was a Stark (Jon) that convinced the Queen of the Unsullied and Dothraki to fight for the North against the Dead.
It was a Stark (Sansa and Arya) that defeated Littlefinger who started the war between the Lannisters and Starks.
It was a Stark who delivered Independence to the North (Sansa).
It will be a Stark (Bran) who rebuilds King's Landing and the 6 Kingdoms into a prosperous society. Bran was the first step to moving to a Republic.

I was surprisingly satisfied with the ending. Writing was meh and story still rushed through. If that is Martin's true ending I feel he will do a better job in the books for obvious reasons.

The only thing I felt was rushed in this episode that left me wanting more was more dialogue between Jon and Dany before he gave her the blade.

Other than that the pacing was great this episode and the major dialogue like Tyrion and Jon was fantastic.

I like the ending too. It seemed a proper denouement and I couldn't find anything to complain about. I wanted Jon and the Dragon to fight it out and the Dragon to discover he couldn't kill Jon Stark, the true heir to the throne, but he had to pay a heavy price for killing the queen.

I did wonder how they were able to clean up the castle so quickly without any servants.

I think people have underestimated how smart the Dragons are. Drogon burned the Iron Throne because he knew it was the cause of all the pain and madness.

I also think the dragons could smell Targaryen blood in Jon from the getgo.

As for the servants, I mean Dany respawned a thousand Unsullied and few hundred Dothraki somehow. So there's that.

What is Drogon's IQ?

Is he a Mensa or NAMBLA candidate?

So many questions. I think he melted the throne by accident, but that's just me.
