Inciarte to miss more time

Lumbar strain still bothering him according to this MLBTR article.

"It appears the lumbar strain that sent Braves center fielder Ender Inciarte to the injured list May 15 will keep him out for “a while longer,” Tim Tucker of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution writes. Braves manager Brian Snitker said Saturday that Inciarte’s back is “still barking a little bit and giving him some problems,” adding he’s not ready to resume baseball activities."

I don’t think he’s been healthy in a while. Rest up Ender!

This is my issue from an auto accident, but I got sciatica as well. Doc and the Lawyer won't let me work.

This is something you won't. It affects everything you do, EVEN SLEEPING. It is extremely painful and makes you uncomfortable if you irritate it.
 
If Sav comes by, he can help me because I am terrified of going down stairs with heavy stuff. So that issue with Inciarte is no joke.

The docs, not doc, said NO.
 
So this presents a bit of a roster issue. We don’t have anyone who can legitimately backup CF on the roster at the moment. If Ender won’t be back for a while we need to look at who could replace that role. Is Duvall able to cover CF? I know his D was always rated well. Or do we need to look at someone else?

I think we finesse it unless the docs say Inciarte is out for the season.

Maybe, maybe not. Wouldn't be totally surprised to see Duvall up for a few days so Acuna can have a day off with a Pitcher sent down.

One less guy in the pen to blow another game.
 
It’s a little funny that right after I suggested Inciarte must be hurt he ends up on the IL. I suspect his back has been bothering him almost the entire year, and Duvall’s struggles made him battle through it. As soon as Riley showed he could fake it in LF Inciarte was shut down.
